Fauquier County was formed from Prince William County in 1759. These records were abstracted from the original bonds, where extant. For the years where the original bonds were missing, entries were made from the Minute Books. The abstracts include names of guardians, orphans, deceased parents of orphans, the value of the estates of the wards, securities, witnesses, etc. Entries are arranged chronologically.
