The marriages included here were copied from the bound manuscript records of John Prout (1701-1721), Samuel Checkley (1721-1734), Samuel Gerrish (1734-1740) and Ezekiel Goldthwait. Other sections include "Marriage Intentions" (1741-1751), "Out-Of-Town Marriages From the Court Record" and "Marriages Not Recorded in the Town Record," drawn from individual church records.
