Volume 3 includes the first two Orphans Court Books (1804-mid 1839) including the northern part of Lawrence County involving present day townships of Plaingrove, Washington, Scott, Hickory, Neshannock, Wilmington, Mahoning, and Pulaski. It should be noted that Wilmington Township, Mercer County borders Wilmington Township, Lawrence County. Abstractions include the names of the deceased, petitioners, dates, details of family members involved in the petition, places, etc., followed by an Index.
