Davidson County, Tennessee Wills and Inventories, Volume 3, 1805-1811

$30.00

Davidson County, in middle Tennessee contains the State Capital Nashville. The county dates back to 1783 and was named for William Lee Davidson, a North Carolina General who was killed in 1781 during the American Revolutionary War. The present volume contains the early wills and inventories for the time period of 1805 through 1811. Contained within these wills is a great deal of family background and history. The inventories tell us about how they lived during these days and the type of possessions the family might have had. One of the side notes is that this volume also contains some guardianships which give additional connections to some different families.
