The Quiet Adventurers in North America (Canada) (cloth)

$56.00

The Channel Islands, primarily Guernsey and Jersey, contributed greatly to the influx of immigrants to the American colonies and the young United States. The bulk of this work is a genealogical dictionary which identifies thousands of known (or probable) Channel Island immigrants to America, and some of their descendants. One section gives brief sketches of well-known Americans who had Island roots. This printing is a reprint of the 1984 edition with the addition of six pages of corrections and additions.
