South Carolina's State Grants, Volume II: Grant Books 7 Through 11, 1785-1786 - Brent Holcomb. The land office re-opened after the Revolution and the state grants began to be issued in 1784. However individuals holding plats prior to that date could obtain grants after the office opened. These volumes are excellent sources for burned record counties/districts, in South Carolina.
