Ochiltree County, Texas Marriage Records Book 1 - 1889-1909

Ochiltree County was created in 1876 but was not organized until 1889 out of lands taken from Clay County. This Book 1 represents the first set of marriage records generated by the county and were taken from a card file maintained by O. N. Goodpasture. This volume contains two alphabetical listings. The first is by the surname of the grooms with the names of the bride and date of the wedding. The second is by the surname of the bride and contains the name of the grooms and date of the marriage.
