This work provides valuable genealogical data on the Perry family tracing the lines all the way back to John Perry of Foreham, Hampshire County, England. The work begins with the first American ancestor, his son, John Perry, born in London, England in 1604, who came to Watertown, Massachusetts around 1666. The introductory section looks at the records of Josiah Perry (3rd generation) and Captain John Perry (5th generation). Included in this section are excerpts from MA archives and details on the lives of these men. The entries note the generation, and contain the full name, date and place of birth, town and state of residence, spouse?s name and date of birth, children, and if known, date and place of death. Brief biographical sketches are included with many of the entries.
