Washington County, Arkansas History and Biographical Sketches
Washington County, located in the northwest corner of the state was established in 1828. The historical portion of the book is taken from the time of the founding of the county up to the time of the writing of the original book in the mid-1880s. The biographical portion are records submitted by the families themselves, therefore, they should be more accurate than other records. This book was originally published by Goodspeed Publishing in 1889 and was reprinted in 2005.
