Originally, land records were found in Faehtz and Pratt's Washington Embryo and in the United States Senate Federal Land Documents. Wesley Pippenger has extended this work by including those prior works but made them much more "user-friendly" in this extensive and thorough examination of Washington land ownership. Also included in the book are land records for Hamburgh (Jacob Funck of Prince George's County) and Carrollsburgh.
