John M. Pafford is a retired professor of history at Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. In 1995, Dr. Pafford received the North-wood University Award for Faculty Excellence. Among other institutions, he earlier taught at the University of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Pafford has served as chairman of the Michigan Republican Issues Committee, co-chair-man of Michigan Scholars for Reagan-Bush, and is a member of the Board of Scholars of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. Back in the 1960s, he was chairman of Young Americans for Freedom in two states.
He is the author of seven books, numerous articles on history, theology, and contemporary events and is an experienced speaker.
