CD: Copy of the Old Records of the Town of Duxbury, Massachusetts, from 1642 to 1770

$15.95

Duxbury, Massachusetts, created in 1637, was the third town established in Plymouth Colony. It was settled by many of the original Mayflower passengers. This book contains a transcription of all the town records that were extant in 1892 - especially town meeting records, and land grants and transfers - with the exception of vital statistics which were published separately. Original full name index.

The book is presented as graphic images, so the user sees the work just as it was originally published. It is intended to look and function very much like a "real" book. There is no electronic index, and there is no electronic text to search. However, numerous electronic bookmarks have been added which make it easy to move through the book. Image numbers will match the page numbers for all of the main text, as well as the index.
