Genealogical sketches cover more than 60 families living in Trenton and Ewing, New Jersey, during the 18th and 19th centuries. Sketches average five pages in length and cover about five to six generations of descent from the progenitors. Male lines predominate but some female lines are also traced. Each sketch identifies at least the vital statistics (birth, marriage, and death), spouse(s), and children, when known. Lengthier sketches may discuss occupation, religious affiliation, political leanings, and military service of selected family members. New fullname index.
The book is presented as graphic images, so the user sees the work just as it was originally published. It is intended to look and function very much like a "real" book. There is no electronic index, and there is no electronic text to search. However, numerous electronic bookmarks have been added which make it easy to move through the book. Image numbers will match the page numbers for all of the main text, as well as the index.
