Franklin County includes the town histories of Greenfield, Deerfield, Montague, Orange, Shelburne, Northfield, New Salem, Conway, Sunderland, Bernardston, Buckland, Hawley, Charlemont, Whately, Leverett, Ashfield, Coleraine, Leyden, Shutesbury, Gill, Erving, Rowe, Warwick, Wendell, Heath and Monroe. Hampden County includes the town histories of Springfield, West Springfield, Holyoke, Westfield, Chicopee, Palmer, Brimfield, Wilbraham, Monson, Ludlow, Longmeadow, Agawam, Chester, Wales, Blandford, Granville, Southwick, Montgomery, Russell, Holland, Tolland, and Hampden. All town histories contain biographical sketches of prominent citizens. The combined volumes also contain close to 500 portraits and views of prominent citizens and localities. The first CD contains all of Volume One; the second contains Volume Two and eighty-five illustrated biographical sketches.
