Over the years, tombstones in family cemeteries have been copied by many Harford County researchers. It is fortunate indeed that these researchers preserved this information because many tombstones are no longer readable or have disappeared. Some family cemeteries now rest in government-owned land and are no longer accessible.
This volume contains over 130 burial sites in Harford County, Maryland. Additional burial information has been gleaned from extant newspapers, death certificate, some church records, family histories and local histories. Annotations have also been inserted [in brackets] within the text in an effort to further identify those buried here. Cemeteries and gravesite entries vary in length and may contain the site’s location (if known), description, or interesting tidbits about the site’s history or genealogy. This revised edition has been prepared with private gravesites found since the original edition was published in 2016. A full-name and location index adds to the value of this work.
