$23.00

Randolph County, Missouri, was created in 1829 from Chariton County. Many of Randolph County’s earliest settlers, arriving through Howard County, had their roots in Kentucky, Virginia, and North Carolina. In 1818, William Holman became the first white man to permanently settle in the area that is now Randolph County. This book contains various church records, tax lists, cemetery lists, pension lists, lists of deeds, an index to the 1840–1853 probate books, a section entitled “Patrons of the Atlas, 1877” and other assorted records of Randolph County. The majority of the records focus on the 1800s. A surname index adds to the value of this work.
