This volume contains Marriage Books 4 through 10, each of which covers approximately three to four years. Three columns list the name of the groom, name of the bride, and the date the marriage was solemnized. Use of (col) stands for "colored." The entries are presented generally in chronological order; sometimes the dates appear out of sequence because the preachers turned in the documents a little late (and sometime very late, depending on the number of marriages they performed). For this reason, the individual indexes found after each marriage book in this volume are especially useful.
