Ancestors and Descendants of Hans Adam Gramlich, 1708-1773, Immigrant Settler of Northampton County, Pennsylvania

$111.00

This book covers the ancestors and descendants of Hans Adam Gramlich, who was born on 24 April 1700 in Bödigheim, Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany and died 1773 in Moore Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Gramlich, along with his wife and five children, arrived at the Port of Philadelphia on 19 September 1749 aboard the ship Patience.

The book is broken down into chapters comprised of the immigrant and one each for the immigrant’s known children and their descendants. Each direct descendant is given a unique identifier based upon their descent from a child of the immigrant. Each child of the immigrant has been assigned a letter, their children a number 0 through 9 and a letter A through Z if more than 9 children. A number or letter as applicable is added to the parent’s identified for each new generation.

In most cases a listing of reference numbers is given at the end of each family section pertaining to that descendant’s family information. These reference numbers correspond to the references found listed in the reference section of this book. Wherever possible, the author has included copies of wills, other estate records, land records and photographs. These documents and/or photographs follow immediately after the family section they apply to and, if applicable, any record transcriptions are also included. Pedigree charts and a full-name index add to the value of this massive work.
