The first part of this bibliography lists primary reference sources relevant to Revolutionary patriots who lived or died in the State of Ohio. These are the initial references that should be checked if there is a known or suspected association between a Revolutionary patriot and the state. No organized military forces arose in what was to become Ohio in 1803. So, it must be kept in mind that soldiers served from other states.
The second part of this bibliography deals with Ohio and the War of 1812.
