Walter Cook was born in 1615/16 in Bromyard, Hertfordshire, England, and came to Mendon, Massachusetts, in 1653. This new book traces his descendants for 10 generations down to the present time. This work is presented in the easy to understand NGHS style, wherein each descendant is numbered consecutively, in addition to being labeled with the number of his or her generation. Typical entries include name, place and date of birth, and date of death. Marriage information is supplied when known. Mini-biographical sketches of principal family members often provide further information, especially regarding second and third spouses and their parents. Place of burial is noted when known.
