Records you may find include appointments of local officials and militia officers, records of legal disputes, appointments of guardians for minors, apprenticeships of minors authorized by overseers of the poor, naturalizations, road orders, and the register of free Negroes. This volume contains rulings of the court of civil matters such as property disputes and slaves.
