Abstracts of the muster, pay and receipt rolls and the bounty land and pension applications of 355 veterans who served from St. Mary's and Charles Counties, Maryland. Many of these claims reveal names of wives, dates of marriage, dates of death, and sometimes comments by the veteran on events during the war. Ages of the veteran, widow and witnesses are given.
