Asbury's South Carolina Visits, abstracted from his Journal

The South Carolina visits have been taken from the three volume The Journal and Letters of Francis Asbury published by Abingdon Press in 1958. It was the work of editor-in-chief, Elmer T. Clark. The reader of this work is encouraged to use the three volume set for its footnotes which are not included here, but to recognize the dubious names of the locations identified and to do further research to establish person, place and event.
