Kerr County, Texas was created in 1856 out of lands taken from Bexar County. Therefore, these marriage records represent the earliest ones for the county. This volume contains two alphabetical listings of marriages, one for the grooms and the other for the brides. Each listing contains the names of the groom and bride as well as the date of the marriage.
