Originally published by Goodspeed Publishing in 1889, this reprint contains memoirs and biographies of Cross County pioneers. Cross County was created in the eastern central portion of the state in November 1862 and was named for Colonel David C. Cross of the 5th Arkansas Regiment during the Civil War.
