Garrard County, Kentucky History and Biographies

$10.00

Named for the second governor of Kentucky, James Garrard, this county was erected in 1797 from parts of Lincoln, Madison, and Mercer counties. The information on the biographies in this volume come from two different sources. First, History of Kentucky by Lewis Collins written in 1882 and second, KENTUCKY: A History of the State written by W. H. Perrin, J. H. Battle and G. C. Kniffin in 1885. The individual families submitted the information on the sketches and therefore, the information should be fairly correct.
