Butler County, Missouri History and Biographies

Butler County, located in the south eastern portion of the state, was created in 1849 from Wayne County, Missouri. This volume contains a brief history of the county with short biographical sketches of the early settlers of the county. These family sketches were submitted by the family themselves, therefore, they are more accurate than other sources.
