Livingston County, Missouri, located in the upper north western portion of the state was created on 6 January 1837 and was named for the Secretary of State Edward Livingston, who helped draft the Louisiana Civil Code of 1825. This set of records include a brief history of the county, the Abstracts of Wills, Administrative Bonds and Guardianship Bonds Book B 1857-1862, the Civil War Soldiers discharge papers, and the Patrons of Atlas of 1878.
