1840 Blount County, Tennessee Census

$18.00

The 1840 census of the United State was the last that only gave the name of the head of households and has some limited use. The big advantage of this census is the listing of those with Military pensions from the American Revolution and the War of 1812. They are given by name and age. When they are the wife’s father living in the house with the son-in-law, this gives the name of the wife as well which is difficult to find in many cases. The age and sex groups are evident with this census under each head of the household.
