Campbell County, located in middle east Tennessee, was created in 1806 out of portions of Anderson and Claiborne. It was named for Colonel Arthur Campbell, a member of the Virginia House of Burgesses and an officer during the American Revolutionary War. This volume contains the records of deeds for the years given. Deed Records are very important in research as they give details about the people and lands that may not be found anywhere else.
