It is an alphabetical listing of each one giving information about their teachers' certificate and where that certification was acquired. It is worth noting that many of them were recommended by the superintendent or by renewal. This volume gives a new insight into the lives of ancestors who spent their time and energy getting certified as a teacher. Many of them spent their lives doing just this for the children of the state.
