The original book used to extract these records was rebound at some time or other. The title page was missing, thus, it was impossible to determine if the record is complete. There are about 400 baptismal entries plus inscriptions from the tombstones in the burial grounds at Bernville, Bern Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania of those persons born prior to the year 1801 (including a few special cases showing persons born years later). It is arranged alphabetically and includes an index. Years covered in this record are 1739 to 1835.
