Abstracts of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Orphans Court Records, 1742-1767.
Edward N. Wevodau.
Largely unpublished, Orphans Court records reveal marriages, link children to parents, identify land transfers from parent to child, and provide other assorted, precious clues to genealogists and are every bit as valuable as abstracts of wills. Unfortunately, they are published less often, probably because of their complexity and the fact that they are often difficult to interpret. Ed is out to change all that with his series of abstracts of Lancaster County, PA Orphans Court. Be sure to check them out. Only years of records differ from previous Lancaster County, PA Orphans Court records of the same title and description. Index.
