Schleicher County was created in 1887 but not organized until 1901. These marriage records reflect the first ones recorded in the county. There are two alphabetical listings in this volume. The first is by the surname of the groom with the name of the bride and date of the wedding. The second is by the surname of the brides with the name of the groom and the date of the marriage.
