Frio County, Texas Marriage Records, Books 1-3, 1871-1900

$15.00

Frio County was created in 1858 but not organized until 1871. It was taken from the lands of Uvalde, Bexar, and Atascosa Counties. The transcription of the first three volumes of their marriage records is very important to researchers. This volume contains two alphabetical listings, one of the brides and the other of the grooms. In each listing, the date the license was issued and the names of the brides and grooms is given. The listing of the Official is not given here, but could be obtained from the Court House in Pearsall, Texas.
