Mills County was created from the lands of Brown, Lampasas, Hamilton and Comanche Counties. This volume of marriage records represents the earliest of the records found for the county and are taken from a card file of O.N. Goodpasture. The volume is composed of two alphabetical listings. The first of these listings is by the groom with the name of the bride and date of the wedding. The second listing is by the bride and includes the name of the groom and date of wedding.
