Orange County, located on the Sabine River, is one of the early counties in east Texas being created in 1852. These cemetery records reflect the past history and the people who made that history happen. Volume 1 of the Cemeteries contains the following fourteen cemeteries: Mansfield, Stephenson, Linscomb, Bland, Jett, Depwe, Hebrew Rest, Smith (Schmidt), Wilkerson, Evergreen, Williamson, Singleton, St. Mary’s and Dorman Family. The information given is what is recorded on the tombstones.
