Palo Pinto County, Texas was created in 1857 from Tarrant and Bosque Counties. It is cut in half by the Brazos River in northern part of middle Texas. This volume of marriage records reflect the first ones recorded in this new county. This volume contains two alphabetical listings. The first listing is by the surname of the grooms with the names of the brides and the date of the wedding. The second listing is by the surname of the brides with the names of the grooms and the date of the marriage.
