Camp Chase Federal Ciivil War Prison Camp, Columbus, Ohio


In 1861, the Camp Jackson training camp was revamped as a prison camp for Confederate soldiers and renamed Camp Chase. The scope of this volume is to give a few personal accounts of their time at the camp, some of the escapes, and a listing of the Confederate soldiers busied in the cemetery at the camp.
