Baldwin County was created in 1803 from Wilkinson County. These records of deaths come from The Federal Union, a newspaper that was being published out of Milledgeville, GA. These records were originally to be included in Marriages & Obituaries from Early Georgia Newspapers. Unfortunately they were left out but were just recently rediscovered. This book should be considered a companion volume to the above-mentioned book. The Index mentions approximately 2,500 names.
