Baldwin County, Georgia was created in 1803 from Wilkinson County. These records of deaths come from The Federal Union, a newspaper that was being published out of Milledgeville, GA. These records were originally to be included in Marriages and Obituaries from Early Georgia Newspapers. Unfortunately they were left out but were just recently rediscovered. This book should be considered a companion volume to the above-mentioned book. The Index mentions approximately 2,500 names.
