Each volume is self-indexing for the subjects, and lists the name, birth and death years, primary residences, primary occupations and full source references for more than 10,000 sketches of 17th through 20th century South Carolinians. Separate indexes to occupations and places of residence are provided. The series, if continued, could possibly consist of five volumes.
