This illustrated story describes a 1991 visit to the Vistula River Valley in Poland in search for ancestors. The heart of this Mennonite settlement was in the Danzig (Gdansk) Elbing (Elbleg) Marienburg area where Brandts, Nickels, Penners, Rempels, and Sparlings lived.
