Contains families related by marriage to one line of direct Stanley descendants of Sands Stanley (ca.1738-1799), through his seventh child (and fourth son), Thomas Stanley (b.ca.1768), and four generations thereafter. Thomas moved from North Carolina to South Carolina, married Charlotte Daughtery about 1787, and settled near Cuffeytown in Cheraw District, South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas and elsewhere.
