This booklet contains all the important information from these earliest Declarations, including (when given), their birth, arrival, etc., and in all instances to whom they renounced allegiance. Many immigrant pioneers from all over the United States passed through Santa Clara County (site of the first legislature of California), and many filed their Declarations here even if they later moved on or returned to points east.
