Roanoke County was the last (1838) subdivision of Botetourt County (formed 1770). The 350 marriage records were compiled from a copy of the county register in the Virginia State Library, Archives Division. Accompanying data includes: name of minister, his denomination, date of marriage and date of return to the clerk's office.
