Canadian genealogy research presents different challenges and resources than American research, and Heritage Books carries titles spanning all ten provinces and three territories. The collection includes immigration records, land grant abstracts, church registers from Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian, and Methodist congregations, Loyalist genealogies, and compiled family histories. Particular depth exists for Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritime provinces, which hold the oldest European settlement records.
