Bledsoe County just in Middle Tennessee in Sequatchie Valley was originally a county that ran from the Alabama State Line to Morgan County on the Cumberland Plateau. In the 1820s the counties of Marion, Sequatchie, Cumberland and smaller portion of several other counties were within its borders.
