History of the Scottish Barclays

This valuable resource was originally compiled by Leslie Barclay (Lieutenant, Reserve of Officers, The Royal Irish Rifles); and later reprinted, with additions and index, by Carolyn L. Barkley (FSA Scot Genealogist, Clan Barclay International). This book examines the family lines of Theobald de Berkeley of Berkeley County, Gloucester, first of the name to appear in Scotland (ca. the year 1154). About twenty-one different locations in Scotland, where the Barclay families resided, are included.
