The Presbyterian church was first organized in Goshen in 1720, and the first settled minister arrived the follow year. This volume contains the earliest extant vital statistics from the records of the Orange County church, which probably drew members from a wide area. It consists of five parts: marriages, 1776-1885; register of members, 1767-1850; deaths, 1805-1850; baptisms, 1773-1851; and an index. Ages, relationships, causes of death and other data are frequently given.
