Many of the notices were copied from other newspapers, so the geographic coverage extends throughout the Northeast, although the bulk pertains to Ulster County, New York. Volume 3 also includes income tax and Civil War draft lists. The abstracts are arranged chronologically and each volume has its own full name index.
